{4.1.2019 - 4.7.2019}

4.4.2019     Little man has had a little cold this month and I feel like it has lasted forever! He is still pretty happy for the most part, though, so that is good! He has eight teeth and is getting so good at standing up on his own. He pulls himself up onto everything and lately he has been letting go and balancing himself for a few seconds. I love that he has been a "baby" longer than my other babies, though! I am in no hurry for him to grow up! He loves his brother and sisters and is starting to like Bullet better, too. The first thing everyone says about him is how much he looks like his dad and I couldn't agree more. He also has Matthew's temperament too, I think - he likes to watch everything that is going on around him and just soak it all in. He loves to be outside but he also likes to just watch his siblings play through the window. I love this little guy so much!!!
Axel was so proud of his tower! I just love the faces he makes!
The boys thought it was great to hang out in the sink playing with the water and watching the girls play outside.
Watching the girls // He is just getting so big!
Eli was so proud of himself the first time he got up on Axel's bed! Getting down was a little more tricky, but the faceplant didn't seem to bother him at all!
The girls have been practicing some new tricks in their closet! Silly little girls!

{3.25.2019 - 3.31.2019}

My little sister had her sweet baby boy this week! He was about a month early and was so tiny and looks so much like his daddy!

My snuggle bug after his bath. Oh how I love him!
Eli loves the park! He tried to climb up the slide today! Haha! // This is what happens when I let go of any egg cracking control! I had a feeling this would happen and it was pretty funny!
I plan to hang this in my half bath. Look how cute Eli's little hand is up in the corner!
I feel like the kids will only fall asleep on Matthew and I am only slightly jealous!
Everybody loves Grandpa!

{3.18.2019 - 3.24.2019}

My sweet kiddos just melt my heart sometimes! // The girls are so cute with Eli!
I love how he is just snuggled right in to her while Lyla gives them a ride in the wagon!
Axel loved these flowers I bought to make a flower arrangement. He was pretty sad when it was time for me to use them! // Eli is getting so big! He is pulling himself up onto everything!
The girls and I put this little arrangement together and they are so proud of it! Matthew made the bowl that these pretty little wildflowers are sitting in!!
We love spring at IFA! (Lyla) // Alya
He just looks so happy with this little bunny! // I have to admit, there are kind of cute - but only when we can snuggle them for a minute and then leave them at IFA!
While I was nursing Eli the kids trapped each other in my yarn. They were having so much fun together I couldn't bring myself to be upset with them, but it did take me three days to untangle all of this.
Alya usually looks so uncomfortable when she falls asleep while watching TV // This is how Axel goes down the stairs now.
We love visits from Nana! // We have spring fever bad!!! It's still a little too chilly to play for a long time outside so we brought some of the outside inside! My kids loved playing hopscotch in the hallway!
Eli found his reflection in the tub! // He is just so cute!
Look at all those teeth!

{3.11.19 - 3.17.19}

Cutest little man wearing his sister's sunglasses! // Lyla was so proud of her building she built for her dinosaurs! There were many floors and many rooms for all the dinos to enjoy! It was quite impressive!
Love this little trio!
I told him to smile for me and this is what I got! Haha! He's such a ham! // Bullet is getting SO big!!
On one of our walks this week Alya volunteered to give Axel a ride. He seemed to enjoy it, but when we asked him about he laughed and said it was scary!

I love these boys of mine! The laughter of my kids is the best!

{3.4.19 - 3.10.19}

3.4.2019    My baby is ten months old and he is such a sweet baby! He is getting two more teeth which makes six for this little chomper. He likes to bite my shoulder when I'm holding him and it seems like I have permanent bruises to show for it! He is pulling himself up onto everything and walking along the furniture. Not much is safe from his determined little hands! His little body wants to crawl faster than his hands and knees will let him sometimes and it usually results in a faceplant...which is evident by his little fat lip. He faceplanted minutes before his little photoshoot. (Don't worry, it didn't stay swollen for long and it didn't seem to phase him too much!)

His favorite toy is a ball and no matter how hard I tried to hide Bullet's food and water from him he beelines right to it the second I put him down. He thinks he's so funny!
He loves to go on walks! We have been taking Bullet out more to try to teach him how to walk on a leash and Eli gets so quiet just taking it all in!
He has started to wave bye-bye and he wants to feed himself again. He takes the spoon from me every time I put it near his mouth. It's messy, but oh well!
He loves his baths! He gets so excited when I turn the water on in the bathtub! He sits on his little bum and kicks his legs and makes his little panting excited noises! It's so cute! He does the same thing when he knows I'm getting him out of his booster seat when he's done eating. He loves to be held!
His feet and hips are the most ticklish and he loves when Axel plays with him. He loves to play peek-a-boo! I usually throw his pants over his face when I'm changing his diaper and a game of peek-a-boo usually ensues. He also likes to crawl around a corner in our house and poke his little head out to play. It is adorable! He really is such a happy little guy and we all love him dearly!
Lyla likes to have her picture taken! // Every time I pull out my cross-stitch or embroidery projects the girls wish they could do a project like that too. So I found this sheet of plastic that they could stitch on and we made a little pattern for them to do. They have done so well!! It's been fun to sit and help them with this project! I hope they don't lose interest too fast because I think they will be so proud of themselves when they finish these!
We had a nice little rain storm this week and the kids were going stir crazy in the house so we had some fun outside for a bit!
The girls got new rain boots and they were so excited for the rain so they could try them out! Also, notice the cute little bear in the background just watching these crazy kids!
He loves to be outside with his big sisters and brother!
The girls have both had little colds the last little bit and Axel has been telling me his "cough hurts" so hopefully this little outdoor play didn't slow down anyone's recovery! // I am loving that my girls have been practicing with my camera!
I think it's so funny that Eli does this! He will just be crawling around the house (or yard in this case) and he'll just stop and rest his head on the ground for a minute, or when he is sitting playing he just folds his little body in half and rests his head on the floor.
Eli went to check the mail with Dad. He thought this was pretty fun for a minute! // Look at those adorable teeth!!

My second time cutting Axel's hair was more of a success. Hopefully the third time around will be even better! I think he looks pretty handsome, though! // I love these happy boys and I'm so glad they like each other!

"Get naked! Just kidding. This is a half bath. Don't make it weird." I have been practicing with my new wood burner and I made this sign to put in our half bath. I think it's hilarious!

He's so happy to be outside! // I love the stage where my babies can reach the piano keys! It's so fun to listen to them clonking around on the keys! He also likes to crawl back by the guitars and pluck the strings and he loves when Dad plays for him!

He's such a good little helper!

He cracks me up! I told the kids to get a jacket so they could go outside and this is the one he brought me - the sparkly pink unicorn jacket. Haha!

{2.25.19 - 3.3.19}

This kid is just the greatest! He loved his grilled cheese and soup! // He makes this face a lot! He thinks it's funny! It's not a sour face...sometimes I think it's his "yummy" face, or he just likes to do it cause he  gets a reaction out of us. I don't know why he does it exactly, but I think it's so darn cute!
We met Jeni at the museum of art at BYU this week and looked at some of the new exhibits.
We loved getting out of the house! The girls got to go to Jeni's house for a sleepover when we were done too, so they were pretty excited! // Eli under the rainbow exhibit!
Axel enjoying the rainbow exhibit. They had so much fun running around and enjoying the live violin music.
Love you Lyla! // Jeni took the girls to the dinosaur museum, she told them to look scared in front of the shark and this is what she got! Haha!!
While the girls were gone Dad and Axel got to go fishing together! Axel fell in a fishing hole first thing and spent most of the trip in his diaper! Haha! He had a lot of fun though and clearly wore himself out! // On our way home from the art exhibits we stopped and Axel got to pick out some material for his new sheets! I'm hoping it will help him stay in his own bed all night! Fingers crossed!
It's hard to get this pup to hold still for a picture! // I got a new hutch this week!!!! Matthew bought me a light to put in it and I'm so happy with it! These dishes have been waiting almost 9 years to be put on display!
Eli is getting too big! I can't believe he is crawling up the stairs!
"I love fishing" and I love him!

{2.18.19 - 2.24.18}

Family nap time! I'm sure Matthew would have enjoyed it more had the two little ones actually slept!
Eli is getting so big! // Look at those adorable little top teeth! He's wearing Axel's old 18 month old jammies. I can't believe they actually fit him! I'm glad he's still got some room to grow, though! Haha!
Look at these cute little cuddlers! It's rare that they sit happily in each other's bubbles!
Lyla and Daddy! I love them! // Eli is cruising!!!
Again...they are sharing a bubble! It's a miracle!!
Oh he is just so cute!!
And here's another one of this cute kid! // And this kid is just hilarious!!!
