{2.19.18 - 2.25.18}

Dad pulled out his rock collection and the girls were enthralled!

I couldn't pick just one picture of this handsome boy!
We finally got enough snow for me to have to shovel the driveway and the kids loved getting dressed to play in the snow! They had so much fun, it was actually hard to get them to come in the house! Lyla had so much fun working on her snow castles and Alya just kept sifting through the snow!
I love these amazing kids! // Lyla posing with her finished snow castles. She had the idea to make little flags out of toothpicks and loved that I wrapped tape around the top for her. She was pretty pleased with her creation! I love her creativity!
I am no good at building snowmen, so here is our baby snowman...or I guess I should say snow-girl. They wanted me to make a little bow out of chocolate chips on top of her head! They loved waking up and looking for her every day until she melted!
 This silly girl is quite the character! We love our Miss Lyla!
We love our beautiful Alya, too!
And this blue eyed boy has my heart!
Nighttime potty training has been a success!! The girls have done so well and I am so proud of them! Now they just need to decide if they would rather have a trip to the dollar store or a fishing trip with Dad!
 My little man is officially 18 months old! Whether he likes it or not, he will always be my baby!
He is just so handsome, and wants to climb everything!!
This boy is so stinking funny! My girls used to walk around with our water sprayer and suck on it like a straw to drink the water...Axel walks around spraying himself in the face until he is dripping wet and he thinks it is so funny!

{2.12.18 - 2.18.18}

 I love that Axel wants to take these belly pictures with me! He's just so darn cute! The girls, unfortunately, were not interested in being in the picture. // 28 weeks!
Lyla is in love with this card she got for her birthday! She dug it out the other day and asked if she could use my camera!
It's probably good that the girls want to take pictures, because I haven't been great at pulling out my camera these days. I found six pictures of Lyla making a silly face very similar to this one!
My poor little man has been so sick this week! He had such a hard time napping in his bed, so I was able to enjoy some pretty great snuggles...I just wish he hadn't been sick, poor boy! // He must be feeling better, though! He really enjoyed these sprinkles!

{2.5.18 - 2.11.18}

I am loving my new kitchen! I bought myself some pretty white tulips and just felt like my kitchen could be in a magazine (minus the fact that my last countertop is not finished! Haha!) Unfortunately I never really pulled out my nice camera to get a picture before my flowers died...so here is a not-so-great phone picture! I'll have to keep my eye out for some more white tulips, I guess! // For primary the girls were asked to fill out a spotlight for themselves. One of the questions was "what is your favorite sport?" Alya's answer cracked me up!!! Obviously we are a very active, sporty family!
I love this boy and his love for baths! Anytime I run the bath water for any reason...to clean or fill up a bucket or whatever, he runs in and tries to undress to get in the tub and opens the drawer I keep the tub toys in and starts throwing in a whole bunch of stuff for him to mostly ignore while he is actually bathing! Also...I just love that little bum!
Dad had one of his first shed-hunting trips and I'd say he did pretty good! Here is a picture of all the horns he and his friend found this weekend. That pile of rocks they are leaning on is where Mr. Mo is buried. I think he's got a beautiful view to enjoy!

{1.29.18 - 2.4.18}

My little photographers are at it again! Here are a few of my favorite pictures they took this week:
...Dad and Lyla...
...Dad and Alya...
...Lyla...
This boy has a serious shoe fetish. Anything can become shoes in his mind. // I kept telling him he couldn't have any snacks because I was making dinner. I turned around from the sink to find that he took matters into his own hands.
Dad took the girls on a fishing trip! They had so much fun!

Maybe we need to start doing a Mohawk on occasion! Haha!
26 Week baby bump // We ran out of diapers for the girls and Matthew and I decided we didn't want to buy anymore, so we put the girls to bed and told them if they woke up dry we could make a trip to the dollar store. They obviously woke up dry! (Lyla picked a pink plastic baseball bat and Alya picked an Easter egg that she could paint.) Hopefully things continue to go well for us!
