{3.29.21 - 4.4.21}

Jeni and Crystal invited the kids and I to Dinosaur Land for spring break this year! We had so much fun! // Here is Eli touching a dinosaur bone!

We found some petroglyphs...
Did lots of exploring...
Found turtle rock, but don't ask me which one we are supposed to be looking at! ...
Found a cool little canyon...
Looked at so many dinosaur bones...

had lunch at a homestead built almost singlehandedly by a rough and tough little woman (the Josie Morris cabin)...

saw the dinosaur quarry...

visited the dinosaur museum in Vernal...
the kids loved sleeping in a hotel room...
and had so much fun! We were so glad that Grandma decided she wanted to join us on this trip too!
It was a big week! We also got to celebrate Easter! We love dying Easter Eggs at home!

How often do I get a picture of the kids all smiling and *almost* all of them looking at the camera!
This kid absolutely kills me!!!! I love that face! ... and that face! We made it up to Grandma and Grandpa's house and the kids were able to decorate more Easter eggs!
And they all made cardboard shields...don't they look ferocious! // Doesn't he look all settled in with that ipad!?
These girls are so crazy!! I love it so much! // Who knew Jeni made such a good jungle gym?
I love these kids of mine so much! They look pretty darn cute in their new Easter outfits!

{3.22.21 - 3.28.21}

Whenever Matthew brings his trailer/tractor home, you can almost guarantee that Axel will be outside climbing around on it!
We had to take my car up north to the dealership for the day, so the boys and I decided to go to Hang Time to play! We had so much fun!!
And we called Aunt Joni and she was able to bring her work with her, and she and Turner were able to come play too!
Axel wanted so badly to jump off this little platform, but once we got him up on it, he decided it was too high and wanted to chicken out. Aunt Joni wasn't having any of that! It was so funny!

{3.15.21 - 3.21.21}

A beautiful Utah sunset!
Lyla had Dad for Christmas this year, and she picked a suction cup bow and arrow to give him as his gift. Axel has been loving playing with it lately! We set up some targets on the sliding glass door for him to practice with! // Lyla put her pants on backwards today. We didn't realize until the day was almost over! One of my favorite parts of this picture is Alya in the background! Haha!
Lyla did pretty good at her soccer game this week! It's so fun to watch her hustle and really go for it! // After he soccer game we went up to my dad's house for an Easter egg hunt. It was a nice day when we left home, but by the time we got to my dad's house it was snowing and so cold! Thank goodness Aunt Kaci had a pair of sweats for Lyla to change into!

I think this picture with all the kids is so funny! It's the only one I took, but I guess it works! (Left to Right: Lyla, Alya, Eli, Turner, Axel, Makayla)
Matthew sent some pictures of his shed hunting trip. It looks cold, but it also looks amazing!

Doesn't he look like a tiny little grown up!? I love how he is propping his foot up with his other foot! So cute!

{3.8.21 - 3.14.21}

The girls made a cute little robin on a stick! They were pretty proud of it, and I don't blame them! He turned out pretty cute!
I love these cute little burrito boy babies!

{3.1.21 - 3.7.21}

I was sitting on one of our stools just chatting with Matthew when Eli showed up with his pillow and blanket, crawled up on my lap and made himself comfortable! // I made hamburger buns this week, and they were so good! I definitely want to make them again...hopefully I will make time for it!
Axel wanted to go outside and play, but I think I was trying to get dinner ready, and Eli wasn't interested in going out there with him. So I got him all bundled up and helped him outside, then I looked out the window and saw this. He looked so sad until Matthew came home from work! They worked on a snowman together and it just made Axel's day!
We added to his snowman the next day and made him a little snowman family!

Joni and I went on a winter hike this week! It was so good to get out, be in the mountains, and best of all, just have a chance to visit with my sister for a while!
Another ice fishing trip!
I love this picture of these two so much!! // And this one of my handsome brown eyed boy!

{2.22.21 - 2.28.21}

Eli came down with this crazy rash this week. I don't know if he had a weird allergic reaction to the nail polish he begged me to paint on his nails, or if it was the Flinstone vitamin I gave him. Either way, I know now, that an oatmeal bath did nothing for him other than make his really mad!
We took the kids fishing (look how puffy poor little Eli is!!!!) and we had a lot of fun. Eli even had fun, despite how he looks in the picture! I think it's time to take him to see a doctor, he is looking so swollen!
I love this big, toothy grin! // Axel's fish looks maybe like it's trying to pose for the picture, too!
This made me laugh so hard...Axel wanted a picture with all the fish and he could barely even hold onto them all! // I love this boy and his crazy personality! I took him to the doctor and he got put on a steroid for his rash. We still have no idea what caused the rash, but I am so glad it cleared up finally!
I love when the girls draw pictures for me!
My Valentine lilly has bloomed! // We thought it was pretty funny that Alya had a Cindy Crawford crumb on her lip!
How cute is that little hand resting on Dad's shoulder!?
Alya's spring recital is coming up! This was kind of a preview they do with the other dance company in Gunnison. Again, it was so fun to watch her!
Eli is loving the movie Mulan right now. The boys are almost always absentmindedly singing songs from the movie. I'm glad I caught this one!
