{12.14.20 - 12.20.20}

I made the mistake of letting Eli play with a roll of wrapping paper to keep him quiet while he was trying to fall asleep for his nap...this is what I walked into. It was worth it! // Matthew taught us all to make butter after church! We had a contest, girls against boys. The girls almost won, but Matthew told us we were done before it was actually done
We went bowling with Evan and Megan! We had so much fun! I love the look of determination on their faces!

Eli is so easy to nap with! (If only sarcasm could be read! Haha!)
Lyla drew a picture for Santa and Jesus. "Santa, if you have a phone will you take a picture for Jesus? One more thing, if not, show it to him."
I love, love, love our new woodburning stove! I love the stone Matthew laid on the floor and I am so excited to have this wood stove heat for these cold months!
I love these happy kids of mine! // I spy with my little eye, an Eli behind the tree.
Alya's ballet recital was this week! She looked so cute in her tutu!!! And she was so excited to show all of us her dance!
(Alya is in the second row...she's the one who tries to spin a little earlier than everyone else.) It was so fun to watch her performance! She did such a good job and I love how excited she was! I'm so proud of her! Hopefully our families will be able to come see her in person for the spring recital, but for the Christmas recital only the parents were allowed to attend in person. Everyone else had to watch via zoom.

{12.7.20 - 12.13.20}

There's always entertainment in the house with these kids! //I love Axel's puppet shows.
I am so excited for this update we are doing in our house!

I am loving my Christmas memory games!
"Don't Destroy Please. CLOSED." The girls didn't want anyone in their bedroom.
I have been looking forward to this ever since the day they were all born! Haha!! Just kidding...but don't miss Lyla's approach to cleaning the butter dish...
