Master Bath Remodel

Master Bath before: very yellow, carpeted floor, tiny bath tub...

...tiny shower. // It looked so much bigger all torn apart!

We had some pretty awesome little helpers! Matthew had to move piping and build the wall at the foot of the tub, and we installed this giant tub! 

We painted the ceiling white and the walls this beautiful blue // Matthew painted all the waterproofing paint on every surface that might possibly get wet, and laid this gorgeous "wood" tile...

...then took a much deserved rest in his enourmous bathtub! 

We got our new vanity and hardware! // Started laying the tile around the tub! (Thank goodness for friends who know what they're doing! Thanks Evan!)

Who knew pulling spacers could be so fun! The kids have been so excited to watch and help as much as possible with this project! 

I think Matthew hated laying the subway tile the most, but isn't it so pretty!!?

Installed the fixtures! // Made me some shelves that I am so excited to have! We had very little storage space in our old bathroom.

I have been so excited to put things on the shelves! I am so happy with how our bathroom turned out!

Matthew really did such a good job! I absolutely love it!

Axel is loving his new legos! I love the way his brain works and it's so fun to watch him figure these out, and he's so good at it! 

And I love those freckles!!! 

"Look at my bong (strong) muscles!" // This poor dog! He doesn't get to be inside very often so when he is, and when the kids pay any attention to him he basically just gets mauled. 

Lyla selfies on my phone! // I can't remember if he wasn't feeling well, or if he is trying to stop napping and it caught up to him, or maybe it's a growth spurt...I don't know, but whatever it is, he looks pretty cozy! 

We are starting another project, and this is going to be a big one!
