{3.25.2019 - 3.31.2019}

My little sister had her sweet baby boy this week! He was about a month early and was so tiny and looks so much like his daddy!

My snuggle bug after his bath. Oh how I love him!
Eli loves the park! He tried to climb up the slide today! Haha! // This is what happens when I let go of any egg cracking control! I had a feeling this would happen and it was pretty funny!
I plan to hang this in my half bath. Look how cute Eli's little hand is up in the corner!
I feel like the kids will only fall asleep on Matthew and I am only slightly jealous!
Everybody loves Grandpa!

{3.18.2019 - 3.24.2019}

My sweet kiddos just melt my heart sometimes! // The girls are so cute with Eli!
I love how he is just snuggled right in to her while Lyla gives them a ride in the wagon!
Axel loved these flowers I bought to make a flower arrangement. He was pretty sad when it was time for me to use them! // Eli is getting so big! He is pulling himself up onto everything!
The girls and I put this little arrangement together and they are so proud of it! Matthew made the bowl that these pretty little wildflowers are sitting in!!
We love spring at IFA! (Lyla) // Alya
He just looks so happy with this little bunny! // I have to admit, there are kind of cute - but only when we can snuggle them for a minute and then leave them at IFA!
While I was nursing Eli the kids trapped each other in my yarn. They were having so much fun together I couldn't bring myself to be upset with them, but it did take me three days to untangle all of this.
Alya usually looks so uncomfortable when she falls asleep while watching TV // This is how Axel goes down the stairs now.
We love visits from Nana! // We have spring fever bad!!! It's still a little too chilly to play for a long time outside so we brought some of the outside inside! My kids loved playing hopscotch in the hallway!
Eli found his reflection in the tub! // He is just so cute!
Look at all those teeth!

{3.11.19 - 3.17.19}

Cutest little man wearing his sister's sunglasses! // Lyla was so proud of her building she built for her dinosaurs! There were many floors and many rooms for all the dinos to enjoy! It was quite impressive!
Love this little trio!
I told him to smile for me and this is what I got! Haha! He's such a ham! // Bullet is getting SO big!!
On one of our walks this week Alya volunteered to give Axel a ride. He seemed to enjoy it, but when we asked him about he laughed and said it was scary!

I love these boys of mine! The laughter of my kids is the best!

{3.4.19 - 3.10.19}

3.4.2019    My baby is ten months old and he is such a sweet baby! He is getting two more teeth which makes six for this little chomper. He likes to bite my shoulder when I'm holding him and it seems like I have permanent bruises to show for it! He is pulling himself up onto everything and walking along the furniture. Not much is safe from his determined little hands! His little body wants to crawl faster than his hands and knees will let him sometimes and it usually results in a faceplant...which is evident by his little fat lip. He faceplanted minutes before his little photoshoot. (Don't worry, it didn't stay swollen for long and it didn't seem to phase him too much!)

His favorite toy is a ball and no matter how hard I tried to hide Bullet's food and water from him he beelines right to it the second I put him down. He thinks he's so funny!
He loves to go on walks! We have been taking Bullet out more to try to teach him how to walk on a leash and Eli gets so quiet just taking it all in!
He has started to wave bye-bye and he wants to feed himself again. He takes the spoon from me every time I put it near his mouth. It's messy, but oh well!
He loves his baths! He gets so excited when I turn the water on in the bathtub! He sits on his little bum and kicks his legs and makes his little panting excited noises! It's so cute! He does the same thing when he knows I'm getting him out of his booster seat when he's done eating. He loves to be held!
His feet and hips are the most ticklish and he loves when Axel plays with him. He loves to play peek-a-boo! I usually throw his pants over his face when I'm changing his diaper and a game of peek-a-boo usually ensues. He also likes to crawl around a corner in our house and poke his little head out to play. It is adorable! He really is such a happy little guy and we all love him dearly!
Lyla likes to have her picture taken! // Every time I pull out my cross-stitch or embroidery projects the girls wish they could do a project like that too. So I found this sheet of plastic that they could stitch on and we made a little pattern for them to do. They have done so well!! It's been fun to sit and help them with this project! I hope they don't lose interest too fast because I think they will be so proud of themselves when they finish these!
We had a nice little rain storm this week and the kids were going stir crazy in the house so we had some fun outside for a bit!
The girls got new rain boots and they were so excited for the rain so they could try them out! Also, notice the cute little bear in the background just watching these crazy kids!
He loves to be outside with his big sisters and brother!
The girls have both had little colds the last little bit and Axel has been telling me his "cough hurts" so hopefully this little outdoor play didn't slow down anyone's recovery! // I am loving that my girls have been practicing with my camera!
I think it's so funny that Eli does this! He will just be crawling around the house (or yard in this case) and he'll just stop and rest his head on the ground for a minute, or when he is sitting playing he just folds his little body in half and rests his head on the floor.
Eli went to check the mail with Dad. He thought this was pretty fun for a minute! // Look at those adorable teeth!!

My second time cutting Axel's hair was more of a success. Hopefully the third time around will be even better! I think he looks pretty handsome, though! // I love these happy boys and I'm so glad they like each other!

"Get naked! Just kidding. This is a half bath. Don't make it weird." I have been practicing with my new wood burner and I made this sign to put in our half bath. I think it's hilarious!

He's so happy to be outside! // I love the stage where my babies can reach the piano keys! It's so fun to listen to them clonking around on the keys! He also likes to crawl back by the guitars and pluck the strings and he loves when Dad plays for him!

He's such a good little helper!

He cracks me up! I told the kids to get a jacket so they could go outside and this is the one he brought me - the sparkly pink unicorn jacket. Haha!

{7.24.17 - 7.30.17}

...camping continued! Axel found the ONLY mud puddle to be found! And of course it was the day I put him in his white hoodie! I can't even be mad because he's so darn cute!
All morning the kids worked on their own campfire and arranging their own camp chairs around it!
Would you believe me if I told you my friend's phone took this picture of Lyla!?
These kids were almost inseparable the whole trip! So cute!
Evan and Megan were nice enough to let all the kids into their trailer to wait out the rain! (Annalyn & Alya)
Watching Matthew bring in the crawdads was one of the highlights!

It was so much fun to spend so much time with our friends and watch our kids run around and play and explore and imagine!
We owe it all to these guys! They have been friends since before any of us girls were in the picture and I am so thankful for the friendships that "the wives" have cultivated and for the friends that our kids are developing!
I bought myself a coloring book and my girls have kind of taken it over! I don't mind though, because they are doing so well! Alya's is the eagle (hawk?) and Lyla colored the peacock.
Alya has really enjoyed coloring and she is doing so well! She really concentrates on what she is doing and is so careful to stay in the lines!
Lyla does great for a little while, but she has a hard time sitting still for too long! (Long car rides are really hard for her!) She is very careful for a minute and then she gets bored and...colors a little faster...aka scribbles... // We found a zucchini in the garden that was half the size of Axel! We always seem to have a few of those every year! Haha!
This little man turned 11 months! I can't believe he is almost a year old!! The first year with the girls seemed to take forever, but Axel's first year has gone SO fast!!

{7.17.17 - 7.23.17}

Alya loved helping dad rub beeswax (she calls it earwax) on his cutting board. My girls are awesome little helpers, but only when it's their decision. Heaven forbid we ask them to clean up after themselves or set the table! // Lyla working on her coloring skills. I feel like it's been a while since they have really wanted to sit and color, but I love it when they do!
Look at those teeth! His top two teeth are coming in and he just keeps on getting cuter and cuter!
 Matthew made his own pastrami! It was really yummy!
(Lyla) We managed to get our friends from Cache Valley together! We have all moved all over...most of them are still in Cache Valley, but there are a couple of us here in Sanpete. We met near Strawberry and camped for 5 days over the 24th of July! It was so much fun!!
(Alya) The kids got wet, they got dirty, the colored, they picked flowers and gathered leaves. They rode the four-wheeler, they hiked all over, they laughed and ran and wore each other right out!
(Lyla)

Lyla was so tired one night while I was getting Alya ready for bed, she just passed out in her camp chair next to the fire. This memory would be sweeter for me if I could just forget about the giant fit she and her sister threw right before falling asleep! Haha!
Swimming at Strawberry. I love my people!
Alya just buddied up to Luke one morning! She kept asking where he was when she couldn't see him and when he moved his chair away from the fire pit to go sit up on the shady hill, she moved her chair up to sit next to him. It was really cute!
10 adults and 8 kids. It's hard to believe that the adults outnumber the kids - they have enough energy that I feel like they should count for two people! Haha!
This was hopefully just the start of an annual trip and I am so looking forward to next year!
