{3.15.21 - 3.21.21}

A beautiful Utah sunset!
Lyla had Dad for Christmas this year, and she picked a suction cup bow and arrow to give him as his gift. Axel has been loving playing with it lately! We set up some targets on the sliding glass door for him to practice with! // Lyla put her pants on backwards today. We didn't realize until the day was almost over! One of my favorite parts of this picture is Alya in the background! Haha!
Lyla did pretty good at her soccer game this week! It's so fun to watch her hustle and really go for it! // After he soccer game we went up to my dad's house for an Easter egg hunt. It was a nice day when we left home, but by the time we got to my dad's house it was snowing and so cold! Thank goodness Aunt Kaci had a pair of sweats for Lyla to change into!

I think this picture with all the kids is so funny! It's the only one I took, but I guess it works! (Left to Right: Lyla, Alya, Eli, Turner, Axel, Makayla)
Matthew sent some pictures of his shed hunting trip. It looks cold, but it also looks amazing!

Doesn't he look like a tiny little grown up!? I love how he is propping his foot up with his other foot! So cute!

{3.8.21 - 3.14.21}

The girls made a cute little robin on a stick! They were pretty proud of it, and I don't blame them! He turned out pretty cute!
I love these cute little burrito boy babies!

{3.1.21 - 3.7.21}

I was sitting on one of our stools just chatting with Matthew when Eli showed up with his pillow and blanket, crawled up on my lap and made himself comfortable! // I made hamburger buns this week, and they were so good! I definitely want to make them again...hopefully I will make time for it!
Axel wanted to go outside and play, but I think I was trying to get dinner ready, and Eli wasn't interested in going out there with him. So I got him all bundled up and helped him outside, then I looked out the window and saw this. He looked so sad until Matthew came home from work! They worked on a snowman together and it just made Axel's day!
We added to his snowman the next day and made him a little snowman family!

Joni and I went on a winter hike this week! It was so good to get out, be in the mountains, and best of all, just have a chance to visit with my sister for a while!
Another ice fishing trip!
I love this picture of these two so much!! // And this one of my handsome brown eyed boy!

{2.22.21 - 2.28.21}

Eli came down with this crazy rash this week. I don't know if he had a weird allergic reaction to the nail polish he begged me to paint on his nails, or if it was the Flinstone vitamin I gave him. Either way, I know now, that an oatmeal bath did nothing for him other than make his really mad!
We took the kids fishing (look how puffy poor little Eli is!!!!) and we had a lot of fun. Eli even had fun, despite how he looks in the picture! I think it's time to take him to see a doctor, he is looking so swollen!
I love this big, toothy grin! // Axel's fish looks maybe like it's trying to pose for the picture, too!
This made me laugh so hard...Axel wanted a picture with all the fish and he could barely even hold onto them all! // I love this boy and his crazy personality! I took him to the doctor and he got put on a steroid for his rash. We still have no idea what caused the rash, but I am so glad it cleared up finally!
I love when the girls draw pictures for me!
My Valentine lilly has bloomed! // We thought it was pretty funny that Alya had a Cindy Crawford crumb on her lip!
How cute is that little hand resting on Dad's shoulder!?
Alya's spring recital is coming up! This was kind of a preview they do with the other dance company in Gunnison. Again, it was so fun to watch her!
Eli is loving the movie Mulan right now. The boys are almost always absentmindedly singing songs from the movie. I'm glad I caught this one!

Master Bath Remodel

Master Bath before: very yellow, carpeted floor, tiny bath tub...
...tiny shower. // It looked so much bigger all torn apart!
We had some pretty awesome little helpers! Matthew had to move piping and build the wall at the foot of the tub, and we installed this giant tub!
We painted the ceiling white and the walls this beautiful blue // Matthew painted all the waterproofing paint on every surface that might possibly get wet, and laid this gorgeous "wood" tile...
...then took a much deserved rest in his enourmous bathtub!
We got our new vanity and hardware! // Started laying the tile around the tub! (Thank goodness for friends who know what they're doing! Thanks Evan!)
Who knew pulling spacers could be so fun! The kids have been so excited to watch and help as much as possible with this project!
I think Matthew hated laying the subway tile the most, but isn't it so pretty!!?
Installed the fixtures! // Made me some shelves that I am so excited to have! We had very little storage space in our old bathroom.
I have been so excited to put things on the shelves! I am so happy with how our bathroom turned out!
Matthew really did such a good job! I absolutely love it!

{2.15.21 - 2.21.21}

{2.8.21 - 2.14.21}

Playdough creations! Lyla made a snowman // Alya made a penguin, I think!
"ROAR!" // Making Valentine boxes!
Lyla's Valentine monster // Alya's heart box
I have found these stickers all over my house as they just fall off his skin and clothes! // This note to Axel from Lyla made me laugh! "Dear Axel, I love you. You are the best brother ever, but sometimes you aren't. Love, Lyla"
The girls had all of us come down into their room and taught us to draw a sloth. It was pretty cute!
Another snuggly buddy picture! I love it so much!
We took this time lapse of Axel working on his lego dino. I love his "roar" at the end of the video! It's so fun to watch him do this!

{2.1.21 - 2.7.21}

Axel put on another puppet show for me. I love that he found a solution to holding all four of the puppets at once. // Bullet thought it would be fun to play fetch with one of our firewood chunks.
The girls got some "how to draw" books for Christmas. They have loved drawing some of the pictures in the books! I am not surprised that they are so good at it! // I have no idea what he's doing, but I think he's hilarious!
Robert called me and asked me to make a cake for Julie's birthday! It was a lot of fun to make and I think it turned out pretty cute! You just have to look past all the many imperfections! Haha!
Happy birthday Grandma!
Man, he looks mean doesn't he!?
