3.4.2019 My baby is ten months old and he is such a sweet baby! He is getting two more teeth which makes six for this little chomper. He likes to bite my shoulder when I'm holding him and it seems like I have permanent bruises to show for it! He is pulling himself up onto everything and walking along the furniture. Not much is safe from his determined little hands! His little body wants to crawl faster than his hands and knees will let him sometimes and it usually results in a faceplant...which is evident by his little fat lip. He faceplanted minutes before his little photoshoot. (Don't worry, it didn't stay swollen for long and it didn't seem to phase him too much!)
His favorite toy is a ball and no matter how hard I tried to hide Bullet's food and water from him he beelines right to it the second I put him down. He thinks he's so funny!
He loves to go on walks! We have been taking Bullet out more to try to teach him how to walk on a leash and Eli gets so quiet just taking it all in!
He has started to wave bye-bye and he wants to feed himself again. He takes the spoon from me every time I put it near his mouth. It's messy, but oh well!
He loves his baths! He gets so excited when I turn the water on in the bathtub! He sits on his little bum and kicks his legs and makes his little panting excited noises! It's so cute! He does the same thing when he knows I'm getting him out of his booster seat when he's done eating. He loves to be held!
His feet and hips are the most ticklish and he loves when Axel plays with him. He loves to play peek-a-boo! I usually throw his pants over his face when I'm changing his diaper and a game of peek-a-boo usually ensues. He also likes to crawl around a corner in our house and poke his little head out to play. It is adorable! He really is such a happy little guy and we all love him dearly!
Lyla likes to have her picture taken! // Every time I pull out my cross-stitch or embroidery projects the girls wish they could do a project like that too. So I found this sheet of plastic that they could stitch on and we made a little pattern for them to do. They have done so well!! It's been fun to sit and help them with this project! I hope they don't lose interest too fast because I think they will be so proud of themselves when they finish these!
We had a nice little rain storm this week and the kids were going stir crazy in the house so we had some fun outside for a bit!
The girls got new rain boots and they were so excited for the rain so they could try them out! Also, notice the cute little bear in the background just watching these crazy kids!
The girls have both had little colds the last little bit and Axel has been telling me his "cough hurts" so hopefully this little outdoor play didn't slow down anyone's recovery! // I am loving that my girls have been practicing with my camera!
I think it's so funny that Eli does this! He will just be crawling around the house (or yard in this case) and he'll just stop and rest his head on the ground for a minute, or when he is sitting playing he just folds his little body in half and rests his head on the floor.
Eli went to check the mail with Dad. He thought this was pretty fun for a minute! // Look at those adorable teeth!!
My second time cutting Axel's hair was more of a success. Hopefully the third time around will be even better! I think he looks pretty handsome, though! // I love these happy boys and I'm so glad they like each other!
"Get naked! Just kidding. This is a half bath. Don't make it weird." I have been practicing with my new wood burner and I made this sign to put in our half bath. I think it's hilarious!
He's so happy to be outside! // I love the stage where my babies can reach the piano keys! It's so fun to listen to them clonking around on the keys! He also likes to crawl back by the guitars and pluck the strings and he loves when Dad plays for him!
He's such a good little helper!
He cracks me up! I told the kids to get a jacket so they could go outside and this is the one he brought me - the sparkly pink unicorn jacket. Haha!
