Matthew and I went up to the grazing pasture and went for a ride up on the mountain looking for trees that needed to be cut down and heard a bunch of bugling elk. I wish my phone had picked up the sound. At least I got a pretty picture! 

The girls and I got to celebrate their birthday a little early! We went up to Orem and got their ears pierced!! They were very excited and very, very nervous! (Left: Alya | Right: Lyla)

I think they like them! 

While we were up north, Matthew took the boys to Yuba! 

The girls and I planned to meet Dad and the boys at the lake when we were done in Orem, but we wanted to stop and take some baptism pictures.

I love these two so much! I'm so glad we got to spend the day together!!

Axel started his first day of preschool today! He has been so excited!!

Gosh I love these two! // Axel is fighting sleep so hard! We went to Idaho this weekend and Grandma and Grandpa took us up to their camp!

I love this bare foot boy! 

Matthew and I took a four wheeler ride! It was so fun! I really miss doing things like that! 

Dad tried to teach the kids how to start a fire with a magnifying glass. 

Good thing these guys like each other! Haha! 

 

I am the meanest mom!!! But this video makes me laugh every time! We went to Home Depot and they had their Halloween decorations out. We found this skeleton dog and Eli was terrified of it!

Snow cones are the best! // Axel lost his first tooth this week! 

Eli made himself a smiley face sandwich for lunch today! // The boys woke up to a bunch of balloons in their bedroom to celebrate Axel's birthday...the balloons only lasted about 20 minutes before they had them all popped. Haha! 

Axel requested a Hulk birthday cake this year! I think he turned out pretty good! // I love this picture of him getting ready to blow out his candles. 

He got lots of gifts! New cars, a new dragon, new books, new clothes... 

...and a new bike! 

I went in to check on the girls before I went to bed and found them like this! I'm really glad my kids have each other! // Joni found this picture that Lyla drew for Crystal when she was in the hospital. She is such a sweetheart and I'm sure Crystal loved it!

We didn't get very many beets this year, but the ones that we did get were HUGE!
