{6.8.20 - 6.14.20}

My sisters and I met up at the Grotto Trail in Payson canyon for a fun little hike.
Tia and Axel! I love this picture of them! // And both of these little faces are the. cutest!
At the end of the trail is this cute little waterfall. The kids had fun playing in the water for a little while! I wish these fun trails weren't so crowded, though! There were a lot of people there!
Just the babies! // Aunt Joni is fun to hike with!
As much as no one really likes to see a picture of themselves...especially from this angle, I love that I have this picture! I love hiking with my kids and spending time in the mountains. Sometimes our hikes get hot and hard, but I love working hard with them and showing them that they can do hard things! // Aunt Kaci with all the nieces and nephews!
I love these people and I love when we make an effort to spend time together!

Eli tried to ride one of the barbie horses...you can see how well it went!
My dad and Carol came down to Electric Lake for a little camping trip. Joni and Turner came to stay with us for a night and then we all went over to Electric Lake for a day! Joni caught a nice trout that was still snacking on his dinner!
Axel caught himself a little fish! // It was chilly on the lake today!

My dad has some friends with a daughter who is just about a year older than the girls. They became instant best friends, and despite the fact that it was a chilly day, they were in the water almost the whole time!
Cute Mr. Eli! // I guess he thought my cupboards need to be decorated! Not too long before the stickers ended up on the cupboard, they were all over the floor! Silly kid!
Matthew was trying to organize the garage. He put up a shelf above the door to the backyard. One of the boards fell about two feet off the top of the shelf and the corner of the board landed directly onto Matthew's head. It scared me!! But it wasn't as bad as it looks! // Eli is practicing putting on his own flip flops and it's the cutest thing I've ever seen!
I love those little squinty eyes!! // He looks too cool for school in this picture!
Matthew has been working so hard on this room and it is all but finished! We will be putting up a work bench for those stools to sit at and obviously we need to bring in some decorations, but it looks so good!!
We went on another hike with the Yardley's! This was a long one, but the kids did so good!
Eli hiked with his little puppy the whole way! It was pretty cute! // Axel's little smile just melts me!
Emmaline and Lyla showing off their stacks of rocks!

{6.1.20 - 6.7.20}

Lake days and hikes are my favorite part about the summer! I love that my girls like to catch all sorts of critters.
We love lake days just us, but they are so much better with friends!
They like to make a little home for the minnows in our tote. // Axel was feeling brave and swam out quite a ways! Thank goodness for these puddle jumpers!!
Eli's favorite part about lake days is squirting me with the squirt guns, and the snacks, of course!
This kid!! I need to find other ways to express how cute I think he is! He's too cute!
And this kid is quite the character! I love his dinosaur cape, his spiderman suit and his fuzzy unicorn feet! // And of course, gotta love these overalls!
I sure love these girls. I can't believe how big they look with their big girl teeth!
I love this little series of photos! He is so funny when he plays peek-a-boo like this!
We had a pretty good rain/hail storm one afternoon, and I love that our porch gives us a spot to sit and stay dry while we watch the storm! // He is practicing lifting up his feet when he's riding his bike and it is the cutest thing!!!

{5.25.20 - 5.31.20}

I am so excited for this little sign to hang in my kid's bathroom! I need to make a few cosmetic changes before I hang it so it might take a minute before I get it hung up...but one of these days!

Matthew and I were headed to bed one night, and I walked downstairs to check on the kids and Axel wasn't in his bed! I panicked a little bit and came upstairs and Matthew was taking a picture of something under the entryway table. Thank goodness he found Axel so I could calm down!

Just hanging out with my cute boys while we wait for everyone to be ready!

We had quite an adventure! We met up with Matthew's family for Memorial Day to go visit graves. The girls got to ride with Jeni and Crystal and after we had lunch we all got back on the road. We got split up a little bit and when Matthew and I turned to get to the freeway entrance we noticed a wreck in front of us. I realized it was Jeni and Crystal with my girls and it was a horrible feeling to drive up to! Thank goodness it wasn't anything too serious. They were rear ended and Jeni and Crystal had some pretty good whip lash, but my girls were just fine, thank goodness! Crystal's car had to go to the shop after the weekend, but I am just so glad it wasn't worse! What a way to start the weekend!

Grandpa and Grandma Great. This is the grandma that I was named after.

My nana!

Grandma and Grandpa Barnes.

So grateful for good family!

Grandma and Grandpa Sorenson.

We went up to Grandma and Grandpa Barnes's house to help clean some things out. Eli was a busy body and loved "riding" the four wheeler!
I wish these pictures were bigger, but I love them so much.
Just some of the buildings on the farm.
This is the old house that burnt down. It's still on the property and I'm pretty sure some cool treasures were found in this old house.
Eli was a trooper getting in and out of the car so many times to look at graves. It was a beautiful day to do it, though! // Axel is just too cute exploring the tree in Grandma and Grandpa Barnes's yard!
He's quite the little gatherer!
Beautiful peonies! // And a beautiful sky!
The girls came up to the grazing pasture with me while I cleaned. They had so much fun! // I love this tan little baby of mine!
We went for a drive today just to get out and explore! You wouldn't know it from this picture, but it was fun, and oh so good to get out of the house!
We plan to go on lots of hikes this summer! We found quite the college student hangout spot on one of our hikes.
This is the top of Ephraim canyon. I just think it's so pretty!
He's just so cute!! (I know I say that all the time, but it's true!) // Axel and his overalls kills me! He is so stinkin' funny!!!
We tried to get to a waterfall up Manti canyon but there was still too much snow. It was still a gorgeous drive, though! // Obviously I wasn't prepared for us to get out and explore...no jackets, everyone is in flipflops. But it was still fun!
This was a long hike! // The beautiful river at the grazing pasture. Can you see the girls back there?
See...long hike. Eli was done! // Axel just taking a break...picking up rocks!
I love how he runs to me on those little legs of his!

{5.18.20 - 5.24.20}

We had our Sorenson Family pictures taken this week! I might be the only one, but I love how they turned out!
This is a pretty accurate depiction of how my kids did through the whole process! // How much do you love this little squeeze!!!
I love those brown eyes, almost as much as he loved his apple!
Axel loved his apple so much he almost ate the whole darn thing! // It's hard to eat an apple with no front teeth!
I love her wrinkled nose!! // Axel thought it was lots of fun poking his head out of the sunroof of the car!
I love these babies of mine! // The kids have found a few injured birds already and, of course, they are just heartbroken over them! I wish I knew how to better take care of these poor little guys!
Tree climbing! The kids rested a pallet against this tree to serve as a ladder for them to get up into it. They have spent a lot of time out in the backyard in the playhouse and in this tree! // A short trip to Cabela's and the fish tank is obviously our favorite part!
The boys "sleeping" in the same bed did not last long! But they are sure cute!
I have no words! It's so beautiful in Idaho!! And family walks make my heart so unbelievably happy!
