{4.4 - 4.10}

Lately, the laundry room has been "inside" and everything else has been "outside." If I don't come "inside" with the girls, apparently I'll get too cold! They like to curl up in a blanket and stay warm "inside."
I just know that these two are the prettiest little girls in the world. I sure do love them! We went out for the day to try to go fishing, but there was too much snow to get where we wanted to go, so we found a spot to stop and explore. The girls hiked around for probably two hours - no complaining and they walked almost the whole time by themselves.
I bought the girls kites. We NEEDED something to do, and it has been a blast! Lyla, of course picked her favorite princess and Alya just had to have the Minion!

My silly Alya. She is just so stinkin' cute!

{3.28 - 4.3}

My mom and Daxton came to visit this weekend. The girls were pretty sad when they left. Alya would go up to the window and call for "DAXTON" for days.
Matthew showed the girls a bunch of bugs in our back yard. They are even getting brave enough to touch/hold some of them. They love roly-polies and worms!

{3.21 - 3.27}

Did you have a good Easter? We did!
The girls were so funny! They almost didn't know what to think when they saw the gifts the Easter Bunny brought them. Maybe they were just a little leery because we convinced them that the Easter Bunny took Daddy's hair. Matthew shaved his head after the girls went to bed on Easter Eve and they were very concerned with where Dad's hair went!
The girls LOVED decorating Easter cookies this year! They thought it was really funny to give them faces! :)
They were also really great at decorating Easter Eggs! Trying to do things like this with toddlers is always an adventure but I love that we get to do things like this with them!

Lyla and Alya helped me make a new shirt for Daddy, and I think it's safe to say that they have all enjoyed Dad's Easter gift!

It's A...BOY

Matthew and I are really excited to welcome a new baby into our family this summer! Baby Brother is due August 20, 2016 and we are so excited!

I'm not going to lie...I'm really nervous to have a newborn in the house again...I have forgotten SO MUCH about having newborns. I survived twins, though, so hopefully I can survive ONE newborn and TWO three year olds. Wish me luck!

{3.7 - 3.13}

I love moments like this. I wish Lyla wasn't so blurry, but at the same time I love that it shows that even when sitting quietly reading a story, she has to be moving!
Sometimes this happens voluntarily. The other day they were running noisily around the house. Every now and then, between all the gibberish that only they understand, I heard requests from one of them to hold the other's hand; seconds later they came running back down the hall playing whatever game they were playing while holding hands. So cute!
 Matthew made houses for their ponies one night and they loved it. He was at work a couple of days later, and so was obviously unavailable to make the houses again. These two figured it out for themselves! They were so proud, they even posed for me to take a picture! :)

{2.29 - 3.6}

Obviously I haven't taken a ton a pictures lately. I know my children are adorable and how can I not take a picture of them every sing day!? but it's hard!!! It gets harder as they get older because they don't really want to pose for me, and they don't hold still long enough for me to capture that adorable moment that I had just witnessed.
But, I will keep trying!
We went to Idaho this weekend. Matthew wanted to go shed hunting so I left the girls with Grandma and Grandpa and I dropped Matthew off, then I was able to have the whole day by myself! I mostly shopped, met a friend for lunch and then I went up the canyon and took a few pictures. It was wonderful!

The girls love their Legos! They pretty much know without saying that the Ariel and Cinderella Legos are Lyla's. Alya rarely gets to play with them, but she seems okay with that most of the time.

{2.22 - 2.28}

Most of the time, two little tyrants run around the house yelling at Mo to get out of their way, or because he stinks. Other times, they all love each other and I get to see sweet moments like this!
Alya - Little Bear // Lyla loves to help me around the house! It was almost hard to not re-mop the floor when she was done!
