Is it just me?

Is it just me or is the second pregnancy way harder than the first!?

When I was pregnant with the girls I rarely felt like I didn't have a handle on my emotions...I was pretty good at keeping my hormones in check. This time around I feel crazy!!! My poor girls are probably so confused..."how can Mom go from happy to angry to crying and back to happy again in a span of 10 minutes?"

I love my girls and I am so excited to welcome this baby into our family, but my goodness!! I am losing it! Crazy hormones, summer heat, and two bored, limit testing two year olds. Some days I just feel like I'm losing the battle!

{6.6.16 - 6.12.16}

Can you spot my family!? Drives up the canyon are beautiful this time of year!

Lyla found this "snake" and insisted I take a picture of it // Alya, of course, needed one of her and her baby!

{5.30.16 - 6.5.16}

Happy Birthday Matthew!
We spent the day fishing and exploring and it was a pretty good day! (As long as my crazy pregnancy hormones weren't getting the best of me!)

The girls' favorite thing about it being warm enough to play in the water is that they can finally be mermaids!!

{5.23 - 5.29}

I love their big blue eyes!
I noticed Alya walking around on the top of her toes like this. Crazy...

We love having fires and dinner up the canyon!
The girls wanted to be helpful while dad was fixing the garage door!

Happy Anniversary

Matthew and I celebrated our 6th anniversary this year! It has definitely been a great six years with it's fair share of ups and downs!
It has been wonderful sharing my life with Matthew! I am so glad that he is the father of my children! We have a beautiful growing family, and like I said, I'm glad I get to share this part of my life, and all that is yet to come for us, with my husband!

{5.9 - 5.15}

My Mother's Day flowers. I love being a mother! I know I am a work in progress, but my girls are the most amazing little things and I am so blessed to be their mom!

We got home from a long drive and Lyla headed straight for the grass so that she could continue drawing.
I had to bribe them with chocolate chips so that they would sit for a picture...this is pretty much the best I got.

Our neighbors have some beautiful lilac bushes and the girls picked many of them for me.
Sweet little Lyla.
Alya (SO CUTE!) // Lyla
They wanted to wear swimsuits so that they could be mermaids. They kept running down the hall and jumping! landing on their knees like they were landing in a pool of water.
One of their favorite things to do these days is zoom their cars down the driveway.
Lyla was so proud of her tower, she requested I take a picture of her with it! // Alya has pretty much had a constant tummy ache for a while now, so I gave her my rice pack to put some heat on her belly...she walked around with "baby brother in her tummy" for a while.

Alya is starting to draw little people...or spiders or whatever she wants. But these little people have arms, legs, eyes, etc.

{5.2 - 5.8}

Guys, I'm not 100% sure which of my girls this is...I'm pretty sure it's Alya! edit: I'm now 100% sure that it is, in fact, Alya!
I know this is Alya! :)

{4.18 - 4.24}

Spring time is a time for blossoms. And pretty little girls love picking blossoms!
*Lyla*

Alya brought a lady bug in the house. She has been terrified of bugs. I guess lady bugs change things for her.
We went and watched my little sister in her track meet. It was a lot of fun. I think the girls' favorite part was running and rolling down the hill.
