{4.22.19 - 4.28.19}

 Game night!
Oh my goodness, this kid kills me!! He loves his jewels and his shoes!
My friend's dad used to say this to them when they were growing up. She explained it to me saying that "the good" are all of God's children. I had so much fun designing and burning this one! It's so big! It's 18"X36" and it hangs in her family room! I am so glad she is happy with it!
We had our annual girls trip to Bryce Canyon! This was the view outside our hotel room.
I love these ladies so much! We had such a wonderful weekend! We laughed, we cried, we hiked we ate. It was marvelous! I can't wait until next year.
The beautiful arch in Bryce Canyon.
Amber and I hiked down to see  the Hoodoos at Queens Garden. It was an awesome little hike! I loved being down looking up at the hoodoos and the colors of this canyon are amazing! // That's the queen looking out over her hoodoo garden. (She's on top of the hoodoo in the middle of the photo.)

I can't wait until next year's trip!

{4.15.19 - 4.21.19}

My little Eli has figured out how to slide the stools around the kitchen to get himself around. // I got to go see sweet baby Turner!! Oh my goodness, he is so sweet!
I don't remember why Axel was upset, but I love his face!
We were in Idaho for Easter this year! Grandma pulled out all the fun food dyes for the girls to decorate their eggs. They turned out so pretty!
Lyla's favorite egg and Alya's favorite eggs.
My little man has not been feeling well and it's been so sad. We sat in the bathroom with the shower running for the steam and he just held onto my sleeve and ended up falling asleep. // We were reading scripture I think at Grandma and Grandpa's house and Axel cuddled up with Daddy and it was very sweet!
Eli's little teeth are so stinkin' cute!!
Lyla came running inside yelling "Mom, I found some worms!!" Yes, she brought them all the way through Grandma's house! Haha! // Axel was just doting on Eli and it was so funny! Both of these boys love their grandpa.
Matthew took me shed hunting with him for the day. We only went for about half the day and my legs and feet were so done by the time we got back to the truck. I don't know how Matthew goes all day for multiple days at a time. He's crazy! // Here's a picture of a horn Matthew found on another shed hunting trip!
These girls are so silly!
Happy Easter from these crazy kids!

{4.8.19 - 4.14.19}

This is a think that Eli does now. He's just getting so big! // This is my favorite little Wrangler butt!
It's starting to warm up!!! These kids are crazy!
Matthew found an elk horn a couple of weeks ago but couldn't get to it so he's been itching to get back up on the mountain. We all got to go with him and the kids and I just hiked around close to the truck while Dad and Bullet went to get the horn. It was windy and cold but it sure was pretty! // Eli thought he was pretty cool in the drivers seat!
The kids hiked so far! If you look close you can see the truck clear down by the road (next to Axel's head). They did so good! It was definitely cold and Alya was nervous the whole down down and by the time we were headed back to the truck Eli was just done. But we had fun exploring and Lyla was so excited to find a turkey feather!

{4.1.2019 - 4.7.2019}

4.4.2019     Little man has had a little cold this month and I feel like it has lasted forever! He is still pretty happy for the most part, though, so that is good! He has eight teeth and is getting so good at standing up on his own. He pulls himself up onto everything and lately he has been letting go and balancing himself for a few seconds. I love that he has been a "baby" longer than my other babies, though! I am in no hurry for him to grow up! He loves his brother and sisters and is starting to like Bullet better, too. The first thing everyone says about him is how much he looks like his dad and I couldn't agree more. He also has Matthew's temperament too, I think - he likes to watch everything that is going on around him and just soak it all in. He loves to be outside but he also likes to just watch his siblings play through the window. I love this little guy so much!!!
Axel was so proud of his tower! I just love the faces he makes!
The boys thought it was great to hang out in the sink playing with the water and watching the girls play outside.
Watching the girls // He is just getting so big!
Eli was so proud of himself the first time he got up on Axel's bed! Getting down was a little more tricky, but the faceplant didn't seem to bother him at all!
The girls have been practicing some new tricks in their closet! Silly little girls!

{8.21.17 - 8.27.17}

2017 Eclipse - I didn't worry about looking for special glasses we could use to look at the eclipse, but then when the day came I really wished I had! Luckily Matthew was working near the science building at the college and they were handing out slides you could use, so Matthew brought some home and we all got to look at the eclipse!
The best part of baking anything is licking the bowls and spoons! Alya really enjoyed helping me make frosting for Axel's birthday cake!
Little man got to enjoy donuts for his birthday breakfast! // Boxes are the best! Seriously...why buy toys when they can play with boxes!
Lyla & Alya
We get some beautiful sunsets!
I canned many jars of green beans! I love having a garden that blesses us with so much produce! // My kiddos all came down with some kind of weird flu this week. They were all miserable and I felt so bad for them! It took a while for them to be back to normal, but I'm grateful they are good as new!
Axel's smash cake! // He loved his birthday balloons!!

{8.14.17 - 8.20.17}

These hams!! This picture sums up pretty well my little family! The girls love their dress-up clothes...although I don't think they would consider them dress-up! And Axel is always just so happy!
This boy loves to climb on anything and everything. His favorite these days is climbing up on the bench in his sister's room. He also loves to  climb on the dishwasher and he's tried using the drawer handles in the bathroom to climb up on the bathroom counter. So far that hasn't worked, thank goodness!!
My blue-eyed beauties!
Lyla reeled in her first fish!!!
Alya was breaking out the dance moves, and it was adorable!!
OH MY GOSH!! I love this handsome boy!!
Oh the attitude!! // She looks pretty relaxed, doesn't she?
One of our beautiful Sanpete sunsets!
Miss Lyla!

My Grandpa celebrated a birthday this week so we went up to visit with him! It was so good to see him and I am so grateful for the love that he has for me and my family and I feel so blessed to be able to visit him every now and then...even though I don't see him often enough!

{8.7.17 - 8.13.17}

My kids were able to come with me to my mutual activity this week! A couple of the girls took Lyla and Alya out on kayaks and let them row by themselves! They took a net over to a spot that had trees growing out of the water with low hanging branches (the girls felt like they were in "Princess and the Frog" and they caught some little fish!
Some of the girls even took Axel out on the water! I'm glad the young women like my kids!

Axel had (what I think was) his first taste of Mountain Dew. I'm honestly not sure how he felt about it.
Just Anna and Elsa riding two-by-two.
We went to the Downey, Idaho fair! While at the top of the ferris wheel something caught Alya's attention. As soon as she got off she took off running...
...and we found her at the mechanical bull! Both the girls took a ride. They loved it but they were also "a little scared!"
They make me crazy. CRAZY! But I love them with my whole heart!!!
