{5.3.21 - 5.9.21}

We got Alya's dance pictures back this week! Man she is cute!!

We surprised the kids with something I've been wanting to get them for a long time!
I think they like it!
Hopefully we can have so much fun with it all summer long!
And hopefully no one gets hurt! Haha!!

We made our first trip to Palisades for the summer this week too! I am still not too convinced that it's quite warm enough, but the kids seemed fine!
How in the world can Axel make his belly get that big!? I thought he was all skin and bone!!
The girls want their brothers to know that they are not allowed in their bedroom! Haha!! // Eli found a bag of chips in the car and didn't hesitate to start snacking as soon as we got in the car after church!

My Grandpa got remarried this weekend and my aunt asked me to make his wedding cake. I can't believe I didn't get a picture of my grandpa and his new wife!!! But I was very happy with how their cake turned out!

{4.26.21 - 5.2.21}

No one wanted to look at the camera and smile at the same time today! I love having this bike track at our park!
Brave boys!

This creative little mind is at it again! He drew "pupcakes".
And his own version of Batman.
Lyla had a soccer game this week and it's almost Eli's birthday so my mom and Matthew's parents and Sarah came down to watch soccer and to celebrate Eli.

He wanted a fire cake for his birthday this year! I love how excited he was about all the things!
I went to check on the kids before I went to bed tonight and found these two sleeping together in Axel's bed.
Matthew had to go out to Kanab to pick up a trailer for work so the boys and I decided to go with him. We must have worn them right out!
It sure is pretty down here!

I wish the whole video would fit on the blog, but I can only get a clip on here. So please enjoy a portion of Alya's dances at her spring recital! She did such a good job and is super cute, I might add!

{4.19.21 - 4.25.21}

Lyla made me a cute little bouquet from our yard today! // Axel has found a new use for his mask...he is the cutest--I mean...most intimidating ninja I have ever seen.
Most of the time I just want our backyard to be finished, but then there wouldn't be anywhere for Eli to dig!
Matthew was resting on the couch when Eli climbed up to snuggle with him. He is so good at pretending to be asleep, don't you think?
Gosh I just love that sweet face of his!

{4.12.21 - 4.18.21}

I love how creative and inventive Axel is. His brain is simply amazing! // Look at that cute face!!
We love our fishing trips! We went out with some friends this week and some of Matthew's cousins were at the same lake so he and Eli walked over to visit with them for a bit. They caught some fish and apparently wore Eli right out! He fell asleep on Matthew's shoulders on their way back to us.
It's time to get the Grazing Pasture ready for the summer. There was a water leak and Matthew had to dig this hole that was almost as deep as he is tall, and he had to dig it all by hand. // I am grateful that I get to be cleaning inside a warm house while he is out digging through more rock than dirt and getting snowed on.
Wouldn't it be nice to wake up to this view everyday? It is so beautiful up here!
